Today there was a meeting with the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) to discuss their initial response to the green paper and to ask individual PCFs to promote the NNPCF consultation document which you can access here and we hope that lots of you will complete this so that the government are clear on the views of parent carers. There is also a children and young people's version and an Easy Read version which may be useful.
The NNPCF have designed a survey to record your feedback so this can be included when the CoChairs meet with the Government; it would be good to have as many parent carers as possible contribute their views to the consultation. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/J63QX22

SEND Review - the government are currently undertaking a review of the SEND system and there will a 12 week consultation on this soon. Last week, Jane Knowles attended the London Strategic Managers and Parent Carer Network in her role as a South London rep for the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF). The NNPCF will send in a response to the consultation but we will also be arranging a meeting for parent carers to share their views so that we can submit a Sutton Parent Carer Forum response to the green paper. We will update you as soon as this is released.
